Posting/discussion guidelines

The Policy Depot provides a digital platform through which global colleagues can exchange information and ideas relevant to the Policy Depot’s mission to support the development, implementation, and evaluation of non-communicable disease policies throughout the world. We invite anyone who works in or is interested in non-communicable disease policies at any level to participate in our discussions, and we hope our colleagues from around the world will help us maintain an environment that is respected for integrity and quality.

Posts, comments, and discussions are monitored by National Forum staff to ensure respect, integrity, and quality among Policy Depot members. National Forum staff reserve the right to ban members who violate these guidelines or who otherwise may offend, insult, debase, or otherwise demean other Policy Depot members or the National Forum. If you feel a fellow Policy Depot member is violating the Terms of Use, please contact moderator@policydepot.org.

Fostering respectful, useful discourse

National Forum staff strive to create a respectful and open forum in which diverse opinions can be shared. Moderators have the right to remove posts or other content. Please avoid:

  • Frequent or repetitive posts that make the same points. The purpose of posts is not to win arguments but to promote a better understanding of differing viewpoints.
  • Derogatory or judgmental comments or implications about individuals. Communications must be respectful of diverse perspectives and individuals’ rights to express them.
  • Messages that are unrelated to non-communicable disease policies
  • Advertising or promotion that is not relevant to the purpose of the discussion.
  • Posting copyrighted material. Instead provide a summary of relevant content, a link to the full material if available, and appropriate crediting of the source.

Please direct any concerns or questions to the moderators: info@policydepot.org.
